Yellow Bird Project + TV On The Radio

The latest band to design a tee for Yellow Bird Project is TV on the Radio, the indie rock band from Brooklyn.

They went with a quirky ode to Bowie, which can be seen below.

The tee is $25, but you can take $5 off your order by using the coupon code, starman, at checkout.  However, all proceeds for this tee will go to relief efforts in Haiti, so do as you feel appropriate.  Order it at Yellow Bird Project.

More pictures of the tee, as well as live performance from TV On The Radio, can be seen after the jump.

“Water By Numbers” from Chop Shop

“Water By Numbers” is a design from Chop Shop created to raise money for welldone.org, an organization dedicated to providing clean water throughout the world.

The designers at Chop Shop worked closely with the WellDone team to highlight the various facets of the global water crisis through the visualization of 27 striking water statistics. The icons paint a picture that remind us that we must both conserve earth’s most precious resource, while working to improve clean water access to those most in need. Never has looking this good, done so much good.

Jun Takahashi’s “Avakareta Life” 2010-2011 Autumn Line

Jun Takahashi is ahead of the year, just releasing peeks from his “Avakareta Life” 2010-2011 autumn line.

There’s only one t-shirt highlighted here, but I wanted to get his work up on here because it’s so impressive.  Maybe it’s because it’s about three degrees this morning and only wearing a t-shirt sounds like death.

Plus, the photos here are incredible.  I love the simple changing out of the screen backgrounds.

You can hit the break to see more or visit Jun Takahashi’s site.

Eraser Tees X In My Short Sleeve Contest

Eraser Tees is bringing something completely new to the t-shirt world, taking the “Choose Your Own Adventure” book concept and applying it to the beloved tee shirt, allowing customers to tailor their own piece.  There are a couple shirt companies utilizing the same idea, but none that make changing the look of your own tee so easy.

Every Eraser Tee comes with a washable dry erase pen, which can be used to write anything you’d like on the white patch of “dry erase board” on the tee.  When you want to change it, just wipe it down with a damp cloth or paper towel, and you’re welcome to write whatever you’d like on it again.

Tees are $14.95, but newly released designs have a limited price of $12.99.

I’ve been lucky enough to partner with Eraser Tees and offer up five for free.  That’s right!  Five lucky ducks will get a free Eraser Tee in the mail.  You can enter the contest by:

1.  Becoming a facebook fan of in my short sleeve and commenting on the post about the contest.

2.  Being a follower of in my short sleeve or Eraser Tees on twitter and tweeting the following message (make sure you’re a follower!):

What or who do you love?  Tell @inmyshortsleeve and win one of five @erasertees! http://bit.ly/dwc0hG

3.  Commenting on this blog entry with your response of how you personally would fill in this Eraser Tee:

Contest ends at 11:59 pm Pacific Time on Sunday, March 7th.  Five winners will be randomly chosen from the entries on Monday, March 8th.
