Last week (wait, was it last week… my schedule’s been too busy lately), I attended the Agenda Show in Long Beach. It was my first time making the trek down south 
and I’m so incredibly happy that I did. One of the brands I discovered with TAVIK, which offers menswear and women’s swimwear.
The TAVIK team announced yesterday that Mark Powell will be taking lead as Creative Brand Director, making him in charge of the brand’s global design direction. He’s got some experience under his belt, including running his own visual marketing agency (Humble Giants) and serving as Art Director for an array of brands in the action sports industry.
Powell led the design execution of TAVIK‘s Holiday 2012 line and their Spring 2012 Collection, which I was able to check out in person at Agenda and quickly fell in love with.
This is an important move for both TAVIK and Powell, and I’m excited to see what continues to come from their partnership.
