How To Get Bloggers To Talk About Your Brand
Adam from I Am The Trend recently put together a video discussing some tips on how clothing and t-shirt brands can get blogs to post about their products.
Thanks to Ignoble!
Oh hell yes.
Thanks to Ignoble for sending over one of their art pieces, “Cubicle”, which makes a statement about the faceless corporate employee.
The piece is spray painted onto a piece of cardboard. It’s up in my office as I type this.
Check out Ignoble, who recently released three brand new t-shirt designs (I recently featured them, here).
Thanks guys!
Thanks to SUMMERJUNK!
Thanks so much to SUMMERJUNK, who shipped over one of their brand new “Junk 69″ t-shirts.
SUMMERJUNK provides contemporary, yet with a retro feel graphic tees, hoodies, crew sweatshirts and polos.
Thanks to SUMMERJUNK!
Thanks to Labyrinth Clothing
Thanks to Labyrinth Clothing for sending over a sweet package consisting of one of their extra soft “Furry Little Monster” tees, some stickers, as well as a couple of fun goodies.
Labyrinth just released three brand new designs last week ($12), plus they’ve got a good number of older tees on sale now ($8).
Check them out, here.
Thanks again to Labyrinth Clothing!

In My Short Sleeve wishes all of our American readers a Happy 4th of July today!
Be sure to get outside and enjoy your family and friends.
We’re taking a short break and will be back up and running on Wednesday, July 7th.

The Ultimate List of T-shirt Blogs
Andy at Hide Your Arms has put together a website compiling all of the t-shirt blogs and boy are there a grip.
If you enjoy this website and get a second, please visit The Ultimate List of T-shirt Blogs and vote for our site. Right now we’re getting our butts kicked.
Thank you to Instant Classic
Thank you so much to Scott at Instant Classic, who was generous enough to send me the softest t-shirt ever made in the history of the world.
The design I was lucky to get, “En Francais,” which translates to, ”Everything sounds better in French.”
This is a perfect shirt for when I’m out running errands such as hitting up the farmer’s market on my two-wheeler on the weekend. I find myself not wanting to take this thing off.
Need a good weekend chilling out t-shirt? Check out Instant Classic, who currently have three designs to choose from.
Thank you to Unscripted Clothing
I wanted to publically thank the folks over at Unscripted Clothing, who hooked me up with some incredible gear last week.
Images of the goodies they sent me are after the jump (excuse the quality of my lame camera). With the sun peeking out this morning, I’m trying to decide which one to wear today.
Unscripted just recently dropped their “Unscripted Country” line, and products are available in their online shop or through Karmaloop. Be sure to go check them out.
Eraser Tees commercial
You’ve got to love this. Eric at Eraser Tees asked a couple of high school students to put together a commercial for his tees and this is what they came up with:
You want one? You can win one of five in the ‘In My Short Sleeve X Eraser Tees’ contest, here, going on now.
Eraser Tees X In My Short Sleeve Contest
Eraser Tees is bringing something completely new to the t-shirt world, taking the “Choose Your Own Adventure” book concept and applying it to the beloved tee shirt, allowing customers to tailor their own piece. There are a couple shirt companies utilizing the same idea, but none that make changing the look of your own tee so easy.
Every Eraser Tee comes with a washable dry erase pen, which can be used to write anything you’d like on the white patch of “dry erase board” on the tee. When you want to change it, just wipe it down with a damp cloth or paper towel, and you’re welcome to write whatever you’d like on it again.
Tees are $14.95, but newly released designs have a limited price of $12.99.
I’ve been lucky enough to partner with Eraser Tees and offer up five for free. That’s right! Five lucky ducks will get a free Eraser Tee in the mail. You can enter the contest by:
1. Becoming a facebook fan of in my short sleeve and commenting on the post about the contest.
2. Being a follower of in my short sleeve or Eraser Tees on twitter and tweeting the following message (make sure you’re a follower!):
What or who do you love? Tell @inmyshortsleeve and win one of five @erasertees! http://bit.ly/dwc0hG
3. Commenting on this blog entry with your response of how you personally would fill in this Eraser Tee:
Contest ends at 11:59 pm Pacific Time on Sunday, March 7th. Five winners will be randomly chosen from the entries on Monday, March 8th.
Eraser Tees X In My Short Sleeve Contest
I’ve partnered up with Eraser Tees and will be running a contest for free tees starting Monday! So, if you guessed wrong this week on Andy’s contest over at Hide Your Arms, you still have a chance to snatch up a free one!
Check back Monday morning for details.

No, not me. Photo borrowed from Eraser Tees.
Haiti Earthquake
This has nothing to do with t-shirts, but it’s something I need to address today.
Watching this footage from the tragedy in Haiti has me completely overwhelmed. I donated to the relief this morning. Below is information for you to do the same if so inclined.
via online: Unicef (donate any amount)
via text: text YELE to 501501 (donates $5 to Yele.org through your cell phone bill) of text HAITI to 90999 (donates $10 to the Red Cross efforts in Haiti through your cell phone bill).
taking 5 for Christmas…
Merry Christmas to all in my short sleeve readers! Thank you for tuning in to the site. I will be back and ready to rock on Monday, December 28th. Meanwhile, I’ll be cooking turkey, opening presents, and probably being irritated I spent money to go see Sherlock Holmes.
Hope you all have a great holiday!

and I’m off…
Just wanted to give you all the heads up that I will be out of commission over the next four days. I’m actually taking this thing called a vacation… can’t really remember what that is, but hopefully I’ll be able to remember from the last time I went on one a few years ago.
See you guys soon!
the goal of “in my short sleeve”

Bottom line, I love t-shirts. I find them comfortable to wear, a cool way to express yourself, and great conversation starters. I can guarantee that I’ll never be in Vogue for my fashion sense, but I like the way they look too. My goal with this site is to keep you up with the world of t-shirts. I want to bring you the most original and the best designed, but also ones that are different or stand out for any reason. When you want to step up your t-shirt closet, I hope you’ll stop by here first.
