Ugmonk offers “7 Days A Week” in two new colorways
I knew that when Ugmonk owner Jeff decided to take his efforts full-time, we were going to see some amazing things.
Ugmonk now offers their incredible “7 Days A Week” design in two additional colorways, providing us with a green and yellow version.
This is THE t-shirt design that I want the most right now. I absolutely love this design. If I weren’t saving pennies to pay for endless house purchasing fees, I would be all over it.
This design means multiple things to me. First, it represents the neverending hustle that it takes to pursue your own professional and personal goals. But also, it promotes the idea of living every day to its fullest… even Monday’s.
Hit the jump to see additional images of both colorways.
“7 Day A Week” is available for $24 via Ugmonk. Be sure to use the discount code INMYSHORTSLEEVE to take 10% off your purchase.
Johnny Cupcakes 2010 Back To Basics Suitcase Tour
The story of how Johnny Cupcakes grew to where it is today is an incredible one. The owner, throughout his travels with his band, hustled shirts from a suitcase in his car.
And now, Johnny Cupcakes is a “multi-million dollar, homegrown, unique t-shirt brand.” And despite the size and success, the company and the designs seem still maintain the independent, street feel.
On April 2nd, Johnny Cupcakes will be kicking off on their Suitcase Tour, paying homage to the beginnings of the brand. A small team of employees will be driving around the United States, hitting up exclusive businesses, art galleries, bakeries, boutiques and more.
With them, limited edition, exclusive t-shirts that can only be found on the tour. The tour dates and locations can be seen after the jump, or visit their tour site, here, for more info.
Unscripted 2010 Summer Lookbook
Unscripted just released their incredibly dope 2010 Summer Lookbook, entitled “Unscripted Country.” In their array of new t-shirts, tank-tops, hats and beanies, Unscripted continues to create aesthetically impressive designs while helping to raise awareness of current social issues.
All brands try to create that family feel of loyalty, but the group at Unscripted really does seem to invite you in with open arms. As you’ll see in the lookbook below, they seem like a cool, down-to-earth bunch of men and women… those type of people that are more than just a group to hang with.
At the end is also a video that documents their shooting of the book, traveling from place to place and doing one hell of a job displaying why I love living in the Bay Area so much.
Designs will be available this summer.
Threadless Weekly Releases 3/22
Hot damn. This week’s Threadless releases are absolutely impressive. I would have done some serious damage if these had come out last week during the $10 sale.
Now each is available for $18 via Threadless. Hit the jump to see all of this week’s releases.
Fullbleed’s Series 10
Designer Rob Dobi at Fullbleed is honestly the person who really started my love for t-shirts. His designs absolutely blew me away when I first saw them and Rob was the one that showed me that there could be something else besides an athletic team or a movie quote across your chest. He continues to wow me with his new batch of releases in Fullbleed’s Series 10.
All tees are printed on American Apparel and are $18-20, available via Fullbleed. Hit the jump to see the rest of his new offerings. Some selected designs are also available on a hoodie or poster.
“General Mutton” from Vicious History
“General Mutton” is a brand new release from Vicious History. The folks there have done an incredible job of establishing their own look and style. Out of their handful of new releases, “General Mutton” is the one that catches my eye.
Artwork is by Keaton Henson, who also completed the upcoming Miles To Go release.
“General Mutton” is on sale right now for $20 via Vicious History.

Fur Face Boy down with Manny Pacquiao
With Manny Pacquiao’s upcoming fight with Joshua Clottey this Saturday, it only makes sense to highlight this brand new tee from Fur Face Boy.

I personally own a tee from Fur Face Boy and I can tell you first hand that it’s one of the best quality shirts I own. They print on American Apparel and use their own tags. There are so many small touches that make a big difference, such as the tag at the bottom hem.
The “Fur Face Pinoy” tee is limited to only thirty pieces and is available now.
“Fur Face Pinoy” is available for $36 via Fur Face Boy.
Ava Domina’s Spring 2010 Lookbook
Wow. I am permanently in debt to The Fresh Stock for putting me on to Ava Domina. I love everything about their new Love and War Spring 2010 Lookbook. Can I have one of each please?
AVA (pronounced Ahh-Vahh) – A feminine name derived from Eve, which is derived from the Hebrew “chavah” meaning “life”.DOMINA (pronounced Doe-Meena) – Dame, lady, ’she who rules’.Additionally, the name Ava Domina is a derivative of Anno Domini (’Year of Our Lord’, the latin meaning behind AD (After Death), BC (Before Christ).“The Spring introductory collection is called Love and War, a juxtaposition of the two themes and the complex meanings behind them. This offering uses stark designs and a color scheme that is almost entirely in black and white. A lack of color in the lookbook helps bring this point out as well.”
They’re having an event to celebrate the launch of their Spring line in San Francisco on Friday if you’re lucky enough to be in the area. Hit the jump to see the full Ava Domina lookbook.
2 Sides 2 Every Man
I really am impressed by this design from Deter Clothing.
“2 Sides 2 Every Man” conveys the idea that there are multiple aspects to every individual. One one hand a sophisticated and what appears like, educated side. And on the other, a more blue-collar, not afraid to kick ass side.
The concept is stroke, but the execution is even better.
Get it for $28 via Deter Clothing.
The “Friendly Beasts” of Sesame Street
“Friendly Beasts” is clearly the standout in today’s Threadless new releases.
Props to designer Hillary White for depicting beloved Sesame Street in such a different way.
Besides the typical adult sizes, this one’s also available in kid’s and baby sizes. Get the adult tee for $18 via Threadless.
Pancakes at the Capitol
Jon Wye has released a brand new wacky and funny tee, entitled, “Breakfast at the Capitol.”
Despite being shot at by jet fighters, the blue blob monster grills up pancakes for his little ones, using the Washington Monument as kindling. Who would have thought the dome of the US Capitol would work so well as a mixing bowl?
The design is obviously lighthearted, but Jon Wye’s ridiculous illustration talents shine on this one.
Right now you can get it for $29 and Jon will throw his “Washington, DC” tee for free! Once the freebie runs out, he’ll still hook shoppers up with a $10 coupon for a later purchase.
Flying Mouse gets a little sexy in this week’s releases.
Whoa. A little change from the norm from Flying Mouse this week. He still has his ridiculously witty designs, yes… but he’s also got a couple that caught my attention more than usual.
Hmmm… maybe I just like “Alive” because the woman in the illustration and I share the same hair cut.
If you don’t know the deal…

the science of math will make you like this shirt
Despite being somewhat of a math nerd in school growing up, I’d never heard about the Golden Ratio until I saw this shirt from Brooklyn Industries.
I saw the design and I liked it, and I’m obviously not the only one, as “Ratio M” is their best selling shirt. But, there’s actually a scientific explanation of the Golden Ratio behind my and most people’s afflection for the image.
Get “Ratio M” for $36 via Brooklyn Industries.
