I love Teecycle Tim
I’ll just come out and say it. I love Teecycle Tim at Teecycle.org. After having one of the most patience-threatening days ever on Friday with my car, I heard about Tim’s “Instead of Shopping” event, where the first five to respond with what they were doing besides participating in Black Friday would receive a free Teecycle tee.
I was not one of the five, but when Tim read about my day, he hooked me up with a sweet tee.
If you’re not familiar with Teecycle, instead of creating and printing their own product, they collect used shirts in an attempt to limit the number of quality tees from finding their way into landfills. This means that finding a product that you like and in your size can be limited, but it’s a damn good feeling when you find one that you like and that will fit you. It’s like a garage sale from your couch.

My significant other has music playing this morning and today we’re going to get the Christmas tree, so you can assume that we’re already in the spirit.
Tee Fury’s design today timed the release of this Limited Edition “Hothmas” design perfectly. You may be able to only wear this one month out of the year, but maybe it becomes tradition, and you pack it away and then pull it back out the old ornaments Grandma made you.
I’m not a Star Wars head by any means, but this design by Aegis is pretty hilarious and Tee Fury will be getting my $9 this morning.

Utilizing the actual shirt into your design is simply cool status. “The Great Outdoors” does just that, making it seem like you’re looking out a window, because the brown of the shirt is the inside of the house.
I kept thinking that the windows were in shapes of letters and that the design spelled something out, but that’s not the case.

new weekly batch from flying mouse
The new weekly batch of designs from Flying Mouse is out. One immediately caught my eye. The use of only one print color is cool, and being a bike lover (more so now after Thanksgiving’s radiator episode), I would love to have this one in my collection.
Also, I’m a “design name” person. Although it doesn’t get displayed on the shirt when you wear it, having a creative and meaningful name for your design will always catch my eye. With that said, this “Going Home” design by Flying Mouse has just that.

some last black friday notes
Sorry for being MIA all day throughout this Black Friday craziness. I won’t go into details, but something happened that included a twelve year-old car, a radiator, and a crack.
