The graphic is a set of floodlights shining down on the pitch creating that famed X shadow. The player is absent because for us, whomever is wearing the shirt is creating the shadow and is the player. It’s almost like the shirt is incomplete until it is worn by someone.

“Piraten Club” is the latest tee release from Bumpy Pitch. It’s inspired by the social-activist St. Pauli club that was founded in 1910.
St. Pauli was “the first club in Germany to ban right-wing activities and displays in their stadium at a time when fascist-inspired football hooligans threatened the game in Europe.” The supporters of St. Pauli have taken a stance against such things as racism, sexism, fascism and homophobia. In an era where racism and homophobia are invading the sport, the ethos of a supporters club standing firmly against these types of behavior are something to be applauded.

Bumpy Pitch and Nike have come together to release two new tees “inspired by one of the great rivalries in international soccer – USA v Mexico.”
The idea behind the rivalry pack has always been about exploring the rich rivalry between the US and Mexico. These shirts feature elements of domination over one another, but also touch on the element of respect for the rivalry and an understanding that we need our fiercest rivals to always inspire us to be better.
The tees feature printing inside of the shirt, which is a statement about the importance of rivalry, placed squarely above the heart.

The crew from Bumpy Pitch have released a new design that was inspired by their own personal relationship with the late US Olympic soccer coach Clive Charles.
We had the pleasure of playing for Clive Charles on the US Olympic Team back in the day (Dunny much longer than myself). Clive was an amazing human being and coach. I’m sure anyone that ever met him, played for him, was a teammate, etc would tell you the exact same thing.
The design elements pay tribute to Clive. His initials and retired number are featured on one of the axe handles, with the opposite handle seeing a nod to 2009 and the year that Portland was awarded an MLS franchise.
