If you remember, Chop Shop had their designs up on Fab.com, the invite-only design discount shop (of which I still have invites available – grab one HERE). During their sale on Fab.com, their print posters and tees were available for 25% off.

Chop Shop released a brand new tee this week, adding to their Filmography collection. This time designer Timo Meyer pays tribute to films from the 1970s. Images making twenty different critically acclaimed films from the decade are featured.

The “’70s Selection” design comes on American Apparel black, silver and chocolate for men and on black and silver American Apparel for women.

Chop Shop released a brand new tee yesterday.

In honor of the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s historic first manned mission into the great beyond. Twenty-three historic missions of mankind’s exploration of space from the very first satellites to the first manned (truly permanent) outpost in Earth’s orbit. The spiraling timeline is numbered with the major years of progress in our stepping out from the cradle.

The tee can be pre-ordered for men on American Apparel’s black, navy or on Alstyle black and for women on American Apparel black.

Chop Shop has released two brand new design, entitled “Beyond Earth: 23 Deep Space Missions” and “The Seven Sins”.

The “Beyond Earth” piece is inspired by the 23 historic missions in our history.  There’s an icon that represents each specific robotic explorere, with the exception of the Apollo program.

If you buy a “Beyond Earth” tee, Chop Shop will donate $5 of every purchase to The Planetary Society, which is a non-governmental organization founded in 1980.

The “Seven Deadly Sins” is a typography design put together by Joby Cummings, “wherein each of the seven deadly sins are woven into the unmistakable likeness of a skull.”

We recently highlighted Chop Shop’s “80′s Filmography“, but here’s another brand new design entitled “A Good Idea.”

“A Good Idea” was designed by Matthew Borgatti and the image glows in the dark.

Matthew Borgatti made this cosmonaut lamp, pictured here with an Edison bulb. Considering our love of space exploration, we asked Matthew to make it into a drawing so we can show it on chests all over the world. The title reflects our point-of-view: Space exploration is a good idea.

Chop Shop has also restocked their popular “weScare” design, which is perfect timing for you to pick up for Halloween.

One of the latest designs from Chop Shopis “80′s Filmography”, which celebrates the variety of movies that 80′s babies, like myself, grew up watching.

A new approach to the Chop Shopiconic tee. Classic 80′s films reduced to symbols and arranged into the form of an eight. 22 films are featured here ranging including those from the genres of SciFi, Drama, Comedy and Action. Can you name them all?

The design was done by Timo Meyer.  It’s available in men’s and women’s cuts and on both black or silver.

The latest from Chop Shop displays an array of 37 celebrity apes (from film, TV, comics, cartoons, video games, literature, and children’s entertainment), compiled together in the shape of a monkey from “a barrel of monkeys.”

The design is available on black, forest green, and brown colorways.

Chop Shop has put together a release to benefit Radiolab, a radio station out of New York.

The first of our designs to benefit WNYC’s Radiolab. Most fans of the show can easily recall the story of a Manhattan middle school teacher, homesick WWII soldiers, Rte 101, an estranged wife and mother from the past, Bob and Carol, unfriendly landowners–that all revolve around, yes, a goat standing on a cow.

All profits of this design will go to benefit Radiolab, who believes your ears are a portal to another world. Where sound illuminates ideas, and the boundaries blur between science, philosophy, and human experience. Big questions are investigated, tinkered with, and encouraged to grow. Bring your curiosity, and we’ll feed it with possibility.

“Water By Numbers” is a design from Chop Shop created to raise money for welldone.org, an organization dedicated to providing clean water throughout the world.

The designers at Chop Shop worked closely with the WellDone team to highlight the various facets of the global water crisis through the visualization of 27 striking water statistics. The icons paint a picture that remind us that we must both conserve earth’s most precious resource, while working to improve clean water access to those most in need. Never has looking this good, done so much good.
