King Oak starts its journey with 5 designs

Toronto’s King Oak just released their very first line, consisting of five new t-shirt designs.

With the intent to create original pieces for those interested in wearing something different from everyone else, a group of three buddies set out to add their own styles and ideas into their pieces.  Each design is backed by their individual inspirations from their city’s street and music scene.

To us the Oak tree is the king of trees, it’s tall and strong, it provides food and shelter for many animals, insects and bums and is found in cities all over the world. It’s also a shout out to our roots, pun intended, as it constantly made appearances where all three of us lived, visited and attended school growing up. The King is not an elitism stance, but instead a reference to confidence and unwavering standards. We aren’t trying to say we are the kings of anything but ourselves.

T-shirts retail for $27 and are available via King Oak.
