Brand new company, Eightyfive, launched their online site today.  Begun by two twin brothers, Eightyfive hopes to provide t-shirt wearers with simple and yet fashionable designs.

Their initial collection consists of three tees, all single colored, all relatively simple in their designs. They print on the very popular American Apparel.

“Ace of Spades,” “Eightyfive Cross,” and “The Tokyo” (which reads 85 in Japanese, I’m assuming because that’s the year the two brothers were born) are all now available for £29.  To celebrate their kickoff, however, for the next seven days you can get 10% off your purchase by using the discount code HELLOSUN.

Designer Rob Dobi at Fullbleed is honestly the person who really started my love for t-shirts.  His designs absolutely blew me away when I first saw them and Rob was the one that showed me that there could be something else besides an athletic team or a movie quote across your chest.  He continues to wow me with his new batch of releases in Fullbleed‘s Series 10.

Jon Wye has released a brand new wacky and funny tee, entitled, “Breakfast at the Capitol.” 

Despite being shot at by jet fighters, the blue blob monster grills up pancakes for his little ones, using the Washington Monument as kindling.  Who would have thought the dome of the US Capitol would work so well as a mixing bowl?

The design is obviously lighthearted, but Jon Wye’s ridiculous illustration talents shine on this one.

You don’t see many designers putting their work on orange tees, but it works pretty well with Glennz‘s latest, “Silencer.”  He’s one (if not the) best at providing clever and light-hearted tees.

Prestigious, who has one of my all-time favorite designs ever, recently released their 2010 winter collection.  And despite my admiration for their previous work, I think their latest handful of designs are a step-up from their previous selections.

An interesting piece in the winter collection is “Habla,” which utilizes that title because it reads “This is Prestigious:  Handmade by Human Beings” in Spanish.  It’s the first non-standard tee by Prestigious.

Stones Throwhas partnered with Stussyto release a limited J Dilla tee, dawning Raph Rashid’s famous photograph of the GREATEST hip-hop producer ever doing his thing in his at home studio in 2005.

It will be released on February 13th and will be available in black and white.  When it’s released, you can get it here.

Incredible execution with this design.  I miss the presence of the Munky a little bit, a normal staple in OMUNKY’s designs, but this is one of their best.
