“Venn Jelly” is a brand new design from Sharp Shirter.
The idea came to me when I was watching a nature special on giant jelly fish invading the coast of Japan. Rather than think about all the problems the jelly fish were giving the poor fisherman, I was mesmerized by all the beautiful colors.
The tee is available on an American Apparel 100% cotton deep v-neck ($26), as well as a men’s crewneck ($24) and both men’s and women’s tanks ($26).
Orders can be made via Sharp Shirter.

Sharp Shirter released a few new v-neck tees strictly for females this week.

All three tees are available for $26 via Sharp Shirter.
“Octohug” is a brand new design from Sharp Shirter.
The design is their 9th installment in the “When Animals Attack!!!” series and features a very Manga-esque piece by our most veteran house artist Huebucket.
The tee is available in both the women’s deep v-neck cut and men’s crew neck for $35 via Sharp Shirter.
Sharp Shirter just released a brand new tee recently, titled “Shark Punch.”
The Shark Punch tee is the long awaited sequel to our bear punch shirt. This is also the first tee that was a customer’s suggestion. During the winter of 2009, I was doing a show outside of the National Portrait Gallery in DC. Around 8 PM, two girls came up to my booth and saw the Haymaker t-shirt. They loved it, but thought it would be great if it was a girl punching the bear. I told them that I had thought about that suggestion, but it was too similar to the original. I didn’t want to mess with anything too close to my best seller. Then out of the blue, one of the girls said “Why don’t you do something like a deep sea diver knocking out a shark!” It was pure genius. I immediately got Huebucket working on the design. It took us almost a year to finish it off because I wouldn’t let him stop until I was 100% on it. The shark punch shirt has big shoes to fill, but I’ve got faith that it will be a huge hit.
“Shark Punch” is available in both men’s and women’s cuts for $20-23 via Sharp Shirter.

I really like Sharp Shirter’s overall look and feel of their designs. They’re offering up four selections (the “Banana Split” below being my favorite) for $10.
Check all four out at Sharp Shirter.
I won’t go into with the history of tee company Sharp Shirter, except to point out that founder Dan Lachman and his line of creative designs “began as a reply to rejection.” And with that, I’m already rooting for these guys. You add the quality of designs that they have, and they’ve found their way into my personal favorite niche of shops.
I think that the strength in the Sharp Shirter collection is the artists’ use of color. You’re not going to find only white, black, or gray tees. They’re not afraid to step outside the norm and present things in a different way. And usually, that risk is worth it, as they’re consistently completing unique and aesthetically-pleasing designs.
My favorite is easily “Banana Split.”
And they’re latest, “Haymaker,” is pretty sharp too.
Sharp Shirter prints their goodies on American Apparel and also offers hoodies, cardigans, and laptop and phone skins. Check out Sharp Shirter, here.
