Established in 1978, the Motor City Rollers were the first in a series of underground derby teams that would meet in and around the city to practice and perform their craft. The derby meets were always kept secret and private, those who were there only had stories and memories to pass along after the night ended (as no photos were allowed). Rumor has it that the last of the derby matches were held in late 1985.

The Blonde Collective’s Artist Series 1
The first of The Blonde Collective’s artist series was released today and it is titled “The Smooch Tee”
The new design is a collaborative project with Ann Arbor artist Damien Moyal.
Damien designed an original work based off of his print “Cat People” and we are proud to offer it up on his behalf.
The tee is limited to 35 pieces and each is hand-numbered by Moyal himself.

The June V-neck tee from The Blonde Collective features a pin-up girl sporting her lone ranger mask and bunny-ears. Next to her, the words “Love, – Blond” are printed.
