TRUE’s “Sharpie” Collection

Written by . Filed under Street Tees. Tagged , , . 1 Comment.

TRUE has released a collection of products entitled “Sharpie”, which pays homage to the classic marker pen.

Back to the sketch book.  Revisiting the classic True “Sharpie” 59-Fifty, we’ve released the original New Era design in a new colorway featuring all grey wool panels, black visor, and light grey underbill.   A colorway paying homage to the marker that gave the design it’s name, and ink.  Along with the fitted, True has also produced a Sharpie Fine Point Permanent Marker with the same handstyle as the cap.   A run of crew necks and t-shirts sharing the tonal grey/black theme will also be available.

Hit the jump to see additional images of all of the new “Sharpie” pieces.

You can find the “Sharpie” pieces starting this weekend at their online shop, True SF, or at the True East Summer BBQ this Saturday (an all day party featuring music and sale prices on all items – 1335 S. Main St, Walnut Creek, CA).

Adapt Advancers + TRUE : Summer of Love

Written by . Filed under Street Tees. Tagged , , , . No comments.

Thanks to The Fresh Stock, I came across the new collaborative project from Adapt Advancers and TRUE.  The t-shirt is entitled, “Summer Of Love.”

This will be the 4th installment of the Native Leagues Project from TRUE, who collaborates with various Bay Area brands for each installment.

The Summer of Love tee is a reference to the late 60’s cultural phenomenon of the same name. Taking place during the Summer of 1967 and continuing through the end of the 60’s, the Haight/Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco (also home to the TRUE flagship store) acted as a hub for a movement that embodied the ideals of creative expression, sexual freedom, and cultural and political rebellion. In following with the Native Leagues Project local teams tradition, the tee also pays symbolic homage to the city’s own San Francisco Giants.

The t-shirt will be available in black and white colorways.  You’ll be able to find it starting tomorrow, June 12th, at both TRUE shop locations (Walnut Creek and San Francisc0), as well as online via TRUE and Adapt Advancers.

Written by . Filed under Hometown Tees, Sport Tees, Street Tees. Tagged , , , , , , , . No comments.

Last weekend was the Bay Bridge Series, which was three games of excruciating hell for me personally, as I watched my San Francisco Giants lame it up against the Oakland Athletics.

To celebrate the series and rivalry, TRUE collaborated with Crooks & Castles to bring Volume 3 of their Native Leagues Project, which consists of an exclusive t-shirt design and a couple of hats.

The t-shirt utilizes both team’s colors and features an image of Medusa.  It’s available now for $32 via TRUE online and TRUE retail locations.

More images of the t-shirt design and hats are available after the jump.
