Our friends at 5733 have collaborated with Bay Area publication East Bay Express to produce a new line of tanks and tees that pay tribute to their mutual hometown of Oakland, CA. The new line is called Loakal.
Right now they offer two designs, including Diverse City, which features an image of Lake Merritt and the surround neighborhoods, and their logo piece, LOAKAL, which clearly utilizes the colors of the Oakland Athletics.
Both are available now ($26 each) via 5733.
Oaklandish launched their Web Sale, with selected tees being marked down to $10 to $13 and their popular Asphalt Zip Hoody to $30. Take advantage via Oaklandish.

“Sour Apple” is a tee by New Gotham Designs which pays tribute to their hometown of New York City.
The big apple symbol is traditionally illustrated simply as a big red apple. We flipped it a little bit and made it a granny smith in order to convey the less than sweet side of the city; we also threw in some recognizable structures from the downtown skyline for a strong visual tie between the world famous symbol and the place that it represents.
It’s available for $35 via New Gotham.
I was lucky enough to be one of the 50 people in the United States to receive Fur Face Boy‘s “FFB USA” tees.
Last month, he generously gave away a free tee to one person in each state.
Per usual, this piece from Fur Face Boy is going to find it’s way into my frequently-worn group of tees. He’s currently working on his next Series and I’m excited to see what he has in store!
Thanks to Fur Face Boy for this incredible tee. Go USA!
